PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 48 HOURS (2 WORKING DAYS) BETWEEN ORDERING AND COLLECTING YOUR PRESCRIPTION
You can now register for on-line repeat prescriptions ordering. Please not this IS available during the pandemic.
Any repeat medication (i.e. medication that appears on the right hand side of your prescription form) can be ordered by ticking the medications that you require and posting the form into the prescriptions box at reception, by post or by telephoning the practice preferably in the afternoon.
If the required medication is not mentioned on the right side of your prescription, then this is not a repeat medication. A doctor may decide that it would be better to see you or speak to you before issuing these non-repeat medications, therefore it is advisable for you to ensure a prescription has been issued before coming to the practice to collect it. Please allow up to 48 hours for these requests to be processed.
Some pharmacies will order and collect repeat prescriptions on your behalf. Please ask you pharmacist whether they offer this service.
We have a health board appointed prescribing support pharmacist who works in the practice one day a week.
Flu vaccinations are NOT being given at the practice this year. Information on how you obtain your flu vaccination is available here. Please do not call the practice for information as we are no longer responsible for delivery of flu vaccinations and therefore cannot provide information. As always, we encourage you to consider getting vaccinated.
Info on flu vaccinations for 60-64 year olds can be found in this document here.

View DetailsAfter nearly 31 years working at Grantley Medical Practice Dr Fitchett retired at the end of April 2020.
"I will miss the patients, staff and colleagues, some of whom I have known since I started working at the practice. It has been a privilege and pleasure to have been a GP during this time and I leave knowing that the current doctors will continue to work hard to provide a caring service to the patients of the practice."
